As a kid I was always drawing. I drew on paper, packaging, my body, trash, and almost anything else that could take a mark (as long as it wouldn't get me in trouble). And to be completely honest, I actually wasn't that great. I didn't have natural talent like other great artist. I just had passion for the craft. So how did I get here? I worked really hard. I studied drawing books. I drew, and drew, and drew some more. Through high school I still wasn't a stellar artist, but I knew I wanted to be in the art world in some shape or form. Unfortunately, I always thought there was no money or future possible—until I discovered graphic design. In my junior and senior year I started helping out with the school yearbook and it was there that I discovered a love for layout and typography. I went on to get my B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Cal State Long Beach and was part of a killer group of designers that wasn't just friends, they were (and still are) family. 

I've grown a lot since those days, but one thing remains the same—I still carry a passion for creation. I hope that my work inspires you to go and do something great today.
